CJC-1295 & Ipamorelin Research & Studies Guide
Discover the latest insights on CJC-1295 & Ipamorelin research & studies: what it is, what has been studied and what the findings show.
CJC-1295 & Ipamorelin Research Guide: What the Studies Show
CJC-1295 and Ipamorelin are two growth-hormone-related research peptides that are often studied together. CJC-1295 is a GHRH analogue and Ipamorelin is a selective growth hormone secretagogue. MyPep Biotech supplies CJC-1295 & Ipamorelin for laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
What is CJC-1295 & Ipamorelin, and why are researchers studying it?
CJC-1295 is a modified version of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH 1-29); the “no DAC” form is also called modified GRF (1-29), while the “DAC” form is bound to albumin for a longer half-life. Ipamorelin acts on the ghrelin (GHS) receptor and is studied for its selective effect on growth hormone release. Researchers combine them because they act on two different pathways that both trigger growth hormone release.

The current state of CJC-1295 & Ipamorelin research
- CJC-1295: early human studies of the DAC form measured growth hormone and IGF-1 levels.
- Ipamorelin: studied in animal models and in early clinical research, including post-operative gut recovery.
- Combinations: mainly studied in laboratory settings; controlled human data on the blend is limited.
What do CJC-1295 & Ipamorelin studies show so far?
A 2006 study of CJC-1295 (with DAC) in healthy adults reported sustained rises in growth hormone and IGF-1 after single doses. Ipamorelin was described as a selective GH secretagogue that raised growth hormone with little effect on cortisol in early research. Evidence for the combination is mostly pre-clinical.
Safety considerations and limitations
Human safety data is limited and comes from small, short studies. Development of CJC-1295 as a medicine was stopped, and neither peptide is a licensed medicine in the UK.
How to read CJC-1295 & Ipamorelin research without getting misled
- Check whether a result comes from cells, animals or people.
- Look at the study size, length and comparison group.
- Prefer peer-reviewed journals and trial registries over social media claims.
- Remember that early findings often do not carry over to later studies.
Bottom line for researchers
CJC-1295 and Ipamorelin are core growth hormone axis research peptides. MyPep Biotech supplies single vials, a blend vial and pre-filled blend pens from £24.99. For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
